These homemade Christmas Reindeer Bottle Toppers are a great way to make any kids drink bottle super fun and festive. You can pop them on your mini milk bottles, water bottles or fizzy pop to turn an ordinary drink into something special for Christmas!
They’re easily and cheaply made from pipe cleaners and I love that they’re fully removable so you can use them again and again. I’ll even be packing mine away at the end of the festive season and saving them for next Christmas too.

How To Make Christmas Reindeer Bottle Toppers
I was inspired to make these bottle toppers for the kids when I saw Danya Banya’s Rein Beer Bottles for grown ups last week. It was such a fun idea I wanted to make something similar but removable and reusable for the kids too.
These reindeer bottle toppers are super quick and easy to make and I hope that my photos will help guide you along the way.
I made each reindeer bottle topper using 2.5 30cm/12″ pipe cleaner stems. I used the fluffiest stems I could find which were 12mm; any thickness will do but I’d recommend 6mm plus if you can.
Using the photo above as a guide, take 2 pipe cleaners and bend the ends to form a circle (bottom of picture) Twist them together to secure them in place (top of picture). This circle is what will slide on and off of your bottle so you can make it as big or small as you need for your particular bottle. (See picture below.)
Slide your pipe cleaner circle onto your bottle and point the pipe cleaner stems upwards to make the reindeer antlers. Cut off the top third of the pipe cleaner and twist it around the upright to make the antler sections and repeat with both antlers.
Take your remaining half of pipe cleaner and curl it in half to make the reindeer bottle toppers face.Twist the ends over the bottle neck hoop you’ve already made to secure it into place. Then simply use the UHU Glue to stick the googly eyes and red nose into place and you have a gorgeous Rudolf Reindeer Bottle Topper!
How simple was that? Now you can quickly make as many Christmas Reindeer Bottle Toppers as you need in no time at all. Everyone is sure to love a bit of reindeer fun on their drinks this Christmas! We love them on our mini milk bottles dressed up with these vintage style stripy paper straws, and they look just adorable with chocolate milkshake!
SAFETY TIP
Please supervise your child with these and make sure that they understand that they are not edible and that the antlers are kept away from their eyes and face. The pipe cleaner ends can be scratchy from the wire so I would recommend bending them over a little too.
