Today I am super excited to share with you our very first Hannukah activity. We’ve designed a gorgeous 3D HANUKKAH MENORAH CRAFT with PRINTABLE TEMPLATE that we really hope you’ll love.
This printable Menorah craft comes in B/W to colour in and two different ready coloured versions too.
This fun Hanukkah craft has removable candle flames so you can either add them all at once or a day at a time like a real Menorah.
We think this is a pretty neat way for kids to join in the celebrations!
The template also comes with three additional menorah colouring sheets and 3 additional Hannukah cards too!
A reader recently wrote in saying that she was struggling to find many DIY Hanukkah crafts to do with her kids. I wasn’t able to help her then as we actually didn’t have any Hannukah activities on Kids Craft Room at that time but her email did prompt me to change that situation!

3D Hanukkah Menorah Craft Tutorial
Menorah Craft Supplies:
- Printable Menorah Craft Template
- White Printer Card
- Coloured Backing Card
- Marker Pens
- Scissors
- Glue
How To Make Your 3D Hanukkah Menorah Crafts
1 – Download and print your Menorah Template.
2 – Colour in the Menorah and flames. (If you are using one of the ready coloured variations skip to step 3.)
3 – If you want to you can colour your candles. There are 8 smaller candles and one larger shammash candle.
4 – Cut out all the menorah template pieces.
5 – Fold the edges of the hanukkah candelabra over along the dotted lines and glue the tabs down onto your backing card. The menorah will sit above the background with a gap in-between for the candles.
6 – Roll all of your candle rectangles up to form a thin cylinder and glue the ends.
7 – Tuck the rolled candles behind the Menorah and glue into place. Make sure the larger Shammash candle goes in the raised middle position.
8 – Add your flames by popping them into the tops of the candles.
