How to Make a Christmas Wreath Out of Cardboard Tubes
1 – Cut your cardboard tubes in half and either paint them or cover them in coloured paper. You can choose any colours you like but we used traditional Christmas colours red and green.
2 – Cut the middle out of your paper plate and glue the cardboard tubes to the rim of the paper plate. We alternated the red and green colours but you can create any pattern you like.
3 – Keep gluing the cardboard tubes all around your Christmas wreath leaving just a small gap at the bottom.
4 – Cut some lengths of coloured ribbon to make a pretty trim for your wreath. again we stuck to traditional Christmas colours of red, green and gold.
5 – Tie your yellow ribbon into a pretty bow.
6 – Fold the ribbon lengths in half and glue them onto the space you left on the paper plate rim. Then glue your yellow bow onto the middle of them.
7 – Finally glue or sticky tape a ribbon loop onto the back at the top so that you can hang your Christmas wreath up.
Now it’s time to put your pretty cardboard tube Christmas Wreath on display to be admired. Hang them on doors, windows, walls or fireplaces. They’re sure to bring some welcome Christmas cheer to everyone.
