How To Make A Cute Popsicle Stick Bumble Bee Craft
– Glue 7 mini popsicle sticks together by using an eighth stick across the back.
– Paint the popsicle sticks yellow and leave them to dry.
– To make your bumble bee’s stripes paint every other popsicle stick black. (If you are making this bee craft with very young children they might find it easier to paint the sticks yellow and black before glueing them together.)
– Wash and dry a plastic milk jug and cut out some flat areas. Draw out your wing shapes onto the plastic and cut them out. You can make a card template first to trace around if you prefer.
– Carefully cut out your wings making sure you have two pairs for each popsicle stick bee. We made one large pair and one small pair.
– To make the bee’s antennae cut a black pipe cleaner into 4 piece and curl over the ends.
– Glue the pipe cleaners onto the back of the bee and some fun googly eyes onto the front.
– Finish off your popsicle stick bee craft by glueing on the wings and using your Posca Paint Pens to draw an adorable smile.
This is such an adorable and simple bumble bee craft. Perfect for preschool or kindergarten this Summer. Buzz, buzz!
