Easy Peasy Paper Plate Easter Wreath Tutorial
Supplies To Make Quick Easter Wreaths:
5 Minute Paper Plate Easter Wreath DIY
1 – Cut the middle out of your paper plate to make a wreath shape. Remember not to cut through the outer ring!
2 – Sticky tape the end of your ribbon onto the back of the wreath and wind it around and around the paper plate to decorate the whole circle. Secure the other end of the ribbon onto the back of the paper plate too to stop your wreath decoration from undoing.
3 – You can leave your wreath with just the one direction of ribbon decoration or you can repeat step one in the opposite direction to give a criss cross effect.
4 – Take the centre of the paper plate that you cut out earlier and cut it in half. Then cut one of the halves in half to make 2 quarters.
5 – Use these pieces to cut egg decorations for your paper plate Easter wreath. The half can make a large egg and the two quarters can make two smaller eggs.
6 – Have fun decorating the eggs in any design you like. We used Sharpie Pens because they have lovely bright colours and dry instantly.
7 – When your eggs are colourful and patterned glue them onto your paper plate wreath. We stuck ours on the bottom so it looked a bit like a basket of eggs but you can stick them anywhere along the Easter wreath that you like.
8 – To hang your paper plate Easter wreath up flip it over and sticky tape a loop of ribbon at the top.
Alternative Quick Easter Wreath Idea
Rather than adding egg decorations to your Easter wreath craft, why not cut out some chick or bunny shapes instead? They’d all look super cute!
