Supplies To Make a Father’s Day Superhero Craft
- Printable Flying Superdad Template
- Colouring Pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
- Bendable Drinking Straws
How To Make A Superdad Father’s Day Gift
Full written instructions are below and the template is available at the bottom. Have fun!
Step 1 – Print your superhero craft template and colour it in. I find it much easier for children to colour it before cutting it out. We used pencil crayons but you could use paint or felt marker pens if you prefer.
Step 2 – We think it’s fun to decorate the face and hair to match your dad’s.
Step 3 – Write your own personal message in the box provided.
Step 4 – Carefully cut out all of the Father’s Day craft pieces.
Step 5 – To make your flying superhero turn the back of your Superdad piece over. Draw a line of glue around its edge avoiding the middle and the bottom edge. Attach the front of the Superdad. You want to make a little closed top tube to put the straw in.
Step 6 – Add a dab of glue to the neck line corners of the superhero cape. Fold them over Superdad’s shoulders and push into place.
Step 7 – Flip your Superhero craft over and glue your special message onto the back of the cape.
Step 8 – Insert a flexible drinking straw into the superhero. Blow and watch your superhero craft whizz through the air!
