This is an easy and adorable paper fox craft that goes really well with woodland animal and nocturnal study themes and of course all your favourite fox story books.
The fox craft printable template comes in full colour and also black and white which children can enjoy colouring in themselves.
Each template has two fox heads to choose from; a ready made head and a design your own head.
There are also two tails that can be glued back to back if you want a double sided tail that looks equally good from the front and back.
The fox’s head tail and arms can be glued in different positions to create lots of fun and different looks!
Please note this easy fox craft for preschoolers includes paper eyes and noses. However, you can use wiggle eyes and pom pom noses if you prefer. One of the fox hats in the photo above has a pom pom nose for your reference.

How To Make Fox Hats

2 – Carefully cut out your fox hat template pieces
3 – If you are making your own fox face either draw on the features or glue on the paper eyes, cheeks, nose and inner ears. (You could also use wiggle eyes and a pom pom nose if you prefer.)
4 – Glue the fox head and legs onto the headband front. It is fun to try different positions.
5 – Staple the headband back onto the headband front to make a wearable loop. (Measure it around your head to make it the right size.)
6 -If you want a double sided tail then glue the two tail pieces together.
7 – Glue the fox tail onto the back of the hat. It’s fun to try different angles and positions.
