Our printable frog headband craft template comes in two versions:
- Pre-colored template for quick assembly.
- Black-and-white template for kids to colour and decorate in their own way.

How to Make A Frog Headband
Whether you’re celebrating spring, learning about amphibians or the frog life cycle or marking Leap Day, this cute frog headband is full of fun.

Craft Supplies:
- Printable Frog Headband Template (PDF file also available from our TPT store too.)
- Printer Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Optional: Colouring Materials, Pens, Pencil Crayons, Paint etc.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Make a Frog Headband
(If you are using the black and white frog template, colour it in before following the instructions below.)
Step 1 – Cut out all the frog template pieces. Fold the inner mouth in half along the dashed line.
Step 2 – Glue the outer mouth onto the top of the inner mouth.
Step 3 – Glue the underside of the mouth onto the frog’s face.
Step 4 – To make the frog’s tongue curly, wrap it around a pen or pencil.
Step 5 – Glue the flat end of the tongue into the frog’s mouth.
Step 6 – Fold the tab on the little lily flowers under and glue them on top of the big flowers.
Step 7 – Glue the back of the headband onto the front of the headband to make a wearable hoop. (Use the additional extension band if you need a larger hat.)
