This is a lovely Thanksgiving craft where kids can have fun and be creative, while also thinking about the things they are thankful for.
“I am thankful” turkeys are a great way for kids to express their gratitude during the holiday season. Thanks to these cute Turkey Spinners, expressing their gratitude has never been more cute or fun!
Kids will have great fun decorating their turkey spinners. On the turkey’s tummy, there 4 spaces for them to write or draw a picture of what they are thankful for.
Then when they turn the spinner, they can make a different picture show up on the turkey’s tummy. It’s so cute and fun!
You’ll see in the photo above that the turkey spinners craft template comes with two different turkey designs. To match the cutting skills of your child.
The one on the left has a scalloped tail and feet. The one on the right has been simplified for easier cutting. It has a rounded tail and no feet.
Both turkey spinner designs come in large and small. The large is printed on two sheets and the small is printed on just one.
Each turkey design also comes with a plain option without text, so that you can add your own wording if you prefer.

Craft Supplies:

- Printer Cardstock
- Hole Puncher
- Split Pin/Brad
- Scissors
- Colouring Pens, Pencils etc
How to make a Turkey Thanksgiving Spinner
1 – Print the template and colour it in. There are four spaces on the spinner where you can write or draw things you are thankful for.
2 – Cut out the turkey and spinner.
3 – Use a hole puncher to make a hole in the middle of the turkey.
4 – Carefully use a pencil to make a small hole in the middle of the spinner.
5 – Place the spinner behind the turkey and join the two together with a split pin through the middle.
