Our easy party popper craft comes in two different sizes and each one has a plain and decorated version. Kids can simply print, colour and stick or design their own.
This is a lovely New Year’s Eve craft activity that can be enjoyed on the big day or during the build up. Turn your party poppers into new year greeting cards or put them on display. Either way they’ll help your new year celebrations go with a BANG!

Supplies To Make Party Popper New Year’s Eve Cards:
- Free New Years Eve Craft Printables (Click the pink link towards the end of this post to get yours)
- Marker Pens
- Coloured Cardstock
- Tissue Paper Confetti Rounds
- Sticky Tape
How To Make A Party Popper New Year’s Eve Craft Activity
1 – Download and print the free printable party popper templates. (Click the pink link towards the bottom of this post to get yours.)
2 – Colour them in or design your own and cut them out.
3 – Fold the 2 outer edges under and sticky tape a short length of ribbon onto the back to make your pull cord.
4 – If you are making a new year greeting card fold a piece of A4 cardstock in half and glue the small party popper onto the front using the folded tabs. If you are making a picture you can stick the larger party popper onto a piece of unfolded cardstock. (Remember to glue the party popper low on the background so that you have room to add your confetti explosion.)
5 – Glue on your tissue paper confetti rounds. (You could use glitter or sequins if you prefer.)
