How To Make A Handprint and Paper Plate Bitten Apple Craft
1 – This apple craft for preschoolers is so simple and needs very little explaining. Start by cutting an apple shape from your paper plate and then cutting some bites out of the side.
2 – Using the bits of paper plate you cut off, shape an apple leaf and apple stalk.
3 – Paint all of your apple parts and let dry.
4 – When the parts of your apple are dry glue the stalk and leaf into place on the back of the paper plate.
5 – Draw around your hand onto skin coloured paper and cut it out. I love this pack of Pacon Multicultural Construction Paper. It has so many shades to choose from.
6 – Glue your hand cut out onto the back of your bitten apple craft with the thumb pointing upwards and the fingers pointing slightly downwards.
7 – Curl your handprint around and glue it to the front of your paper plate bitten apple craft. We just glued at the end of the fingertips which helps to give the hand a more 3D appearance.
Your handprint and paper plate bitten apple craft is ready to go on display. What a fun Fall craft to celebrate the apple harvest.
