Let’s Make Our Christmas Elves!
– Start by painting your paper plate in a skin colour of your choice.
– Next, cut out two pointed elf ears from scrap cardstock (an old cereal box or such like) and paint those the same skin colour.
– When the paint is dry you can give your elf a funny face. Either draw it on or cut out some black paper shapes like we have. We finished our elf’s face with a red pom pom nose and wiggle eyes.
– Every Christmas elf needs a hat to keep him warm while he’s working in the North Pole. We simple cut a green triangle for the hat and then added a red zigzag trim and red pompom. We also cut some black paper hair.
– Glue on the elf’s hair and then pop his hat on top. (You can use double sided tape if you prefer.)
– Next, cut a red paper zig zag trim for the elf’s neck.
– Finish off your paper plate elf by gluing on his pointed ears and his neck trim. Isn’t he fun?!
