This PAPER PLATE SNOWY OWL CRAFT is so cute with it’s fluffy body, cupcake liner eyes and handprint wings. It’s such a fun and easy winter craft for your preschoolers and elementary kids.
We love the cupcake liner eyes because they really stand out and give a wonderful 3D element to the owls. We can never resist handprint crafts so the handprint wings are a must for us and add a lovely personal touch. We’ve glued the wings onto our snowy owl crafts but you could double the fun and attach them with paper fasteners instead if you wanted them to be movable.
This is a lovely handprint owl craft for winter, to go with nocturnal study themes or to accompany your favourite owl story books. We think it lends itself particularly well to the Owl Babies and The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark.
If you’re looking for more easy owl crafts for preschoolers take a peek at our Paper Plate Flying Owls, Yarn Wrapped Owls and our No-Sew Burlap Owls. They are all adorable and great to go with owl stories and nocturnal animal studies.
