How to Make a Rocking Penguin
With this Printable Rocking Penguin Craft For Kids, winter just got a whole lot more fun and exciting! Kids will have a great time crafting and playing with their adorable rocking penguins!
Penguin Craft Supply List:
- PRINTABLE PENGUIN TEMPLATE (Also available from our TPT store)
- White Card Stock (You could use white paper too but it won’t be as robust.)
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Optional: Colouring Materials
Step-by-Step Instructions
Download and print the ROCKING PENGUIN TEMPLATE. If you’re using the black-and-white template colour it before moving on to the tutorial below.
Step 1 – Glue the wings onto the back of the penguin’s black body, one on each side.
Step 2 – Fold the penguin’s body in half and glue on the feet, one on each side. (Do not attach the feet across the bottom because they will stop it from rocking.)
Step 3 – Glue on the penguin’s beak and eyes.
Step 4 – Glue the hat to the top of the penguin’s head.
Step – 5 – Fold the connector along the dotted lines to make tabs.
Step 6 – Open up the bottom of the penguin and glue the connector tabs to the front and the back.
Step 7 – Now you can stand your penguin up and give it a little tap to see it wobble from side to side!
