Turkey Puppets – Thanksgiving Scissor Practice
Craft Supplies:
- Scissor Practice Turkey Puppets Craft Template (<- click here to get it from our shop or TPT store.)
- Printer Cardstock
- Craft Stick
- 1 Inch Hole Puncher
- Scissors
- Glue
- Sticky Tape
- Colouring Pens/Pencils etc.
How To Make A Scissor Skills Turkey Stick Puppet
1 – Download and print the turkey puppet template.
2 – If you are using the B/W version then colour it in.
3 – Cut out the turkey pieces.
4 – Cut down the both sides of the feathers. Make sure you don’t go over the half way line.
5 – Glue the feathers onto the back of the turkey puppet’s body.
6 – Sticky tape a jumbo craft stick handle onto the back of the puppet.
How To Make A Turkey Finger Puppet
1 – Follow steps 1-4 above.
2 – Use a 1inch hole puncher to cut out the finger holes.
3 – Glue the feathers onto the back of the turkey puppet’s body.
