This math witch craft has plenty of opportunity for learning as it’s made up of 11 different 2D shapes! I love that kids can get creative and enjoy learning about shapes at the the same time.
Our Shape Witch art is easy to make with the printable template which comes in both colour and also black/white for kids to decorate themselves in any colours they like.
Kids will love cutting and glueing their own Shape Witch and when they’ve finished you can hang them on the wall to make super decorations for Halloween!
To help consolidate learning there’s also a worksheet, so when the kids have finished making their Halloween Witch they can count the number of each shape and record their findings.

How To Make Shape Witches
1 – Download and print your Shape Witch Templates.
2 – If you’re using the black and white witch template then colour it in.
3 – Next cut out the shape pieces.
4 – Follow the numbered guide sheet and glue the shapes onto a sheet of paper or cardstock. The step by step kids is made of images so kids can see which shape to glue next without needing to read any instructions.
5 – Add your shapes step by step and you’ll see your Witch Art start to appear.
6 – Kids can then glue on the octagon label and write their name
7 – Finish your witch picture by gluing on some wiggle eyes and drawing a face and hair.
8 – Kids can finish off the halloween math activity by counting the number of each different shape and record their findings on the worksheet included.
