How to Make a Cute Christmas Gnome From a Paper Plate
– To make the paper plate cone that becomes the shape of your gnome, cut a slice of about a quarter, from the paper plate.
– Next roll up the paper plate to make a cone and glue it into place.
– Now cover the cone with red felt paper. Make it an inch or so longer than the cone so that you can twist the top together to make the gnomes pointed hat.
– To make the gnome’s beard, cut a triangle out of tissue or felt. then snip into it to make the beard strands.
– Cut a thin rectangle of paper the same width as the beard and glue on biodegradable silver glitter. This is the gnome’s hat band.
– When your glitter is dry, glue the beard and hat band on to the front of the gnome. Then cut a small skin coloured round shape to make his nose and glue it on.
– Finally, glue some small pompoms onto the bottom at the front to make his feet and finish off by gluing a pompom onto the top of the gnomes hat. If you want to you can also add a loop of string to hang your gnomes from.
