We built a pond in our garden last Summer and have been waiting patiently for dragonflies to move in. We’ve already got frogs and lots of tadpoles so we’re optimistic that the dragonflies will be next. Fingers crossed! While we wait for these beautiful insects to arrive we thought we’d put together a collection of all our favourite DRAGONFLY CRAFTS in one place.
We’re sharing 20 pretty dragonfly crafts for preschoolers and bigger kids with you today and will add to them as we create more or spot new gems from our favourite craft blogs. These dragonflies are lovely to make over the summer or if you’re following an insect study unit.
Have fun!
We’ve grouped these dragonfly activities into sets of 4. Each set has a photograph of all the dragonflies so you can choose which of them you’d like to make first. When you’ve chosen simply click on the text link to go to the full instructions.
