Have you got a young ant fan? If they’re as enthusiastic about these little insects as we are, then they’ll love this collection of ANT CRAFTS FOR KIDS.
I have been fascinated with ants since I was a little girl and I hope I’ve passed my enthusiasm on to my own kids too. I can remember my mum carefully lifting a paving slab in our back garden so that I could watch a colony of black ants that had moved in underneath. It really was amazing to be able to see them care for their eggs and larvae at such close quarters.
I’m still totally in awe of these amazing creatures and think ant crafts are a great way to encourage our own children to treat these tiny insects with care and respect and to enjoy learning about the amazing ant life cycle.
I hope you enjoy this collection of ant activities as much as we do. Have fun!
The ant crafts are grouped together below in sets of 4. Each set shows a photograph of each craft so you can easily choose which you’d like to try first. Then simply click on the text links below the photos to go straight to the full instructions.
