How to Make A Christmas Stocking Craft
Step 1 – Download and Print The Free Christmas Template – We recommend printing your stocking outline onto printer cardstock but you can use ordinary paper if you prefer.
Step 2 – Decorate The Christmas Stocking Coloring Pages: If you’re using the black and white coloring sheets, add some Christmas color to your chosen stocking and embellishments.
Step 3 – Cut Out The Stocking Template: Carefully cut out the Christmas stocking pieces, following along the dotted lines. (Young children might need a little adult help with some of the smaller embellishments.)
Step 4 – Personalise Your Stocking: Now comes the exciting part! Kids can have a great time unleashing their creativity…there are so many fun ways to decorate the small stockings!
Glue your favourite decorations onto your basic stocking to turn it into something unique and magical! You can fill your stocking fronts with as many different pattern pieces as you like. You’ll find Santa Claus, Gingerbread Man, Christmas Tree templates and much more!

Step 5 – And Now The Last Step…Display Your Creative Masterpiece! Each Cut and Stick Christmas stocking craft will be unique and wonderful! If you want to hang them up simply make a little hanging loop from a piece of ribbon and sticky tape it to the top of the stocking. You can pin your finished stockings on the wall, hang them on the mantlepiece or glue them onto folded cardstock to make Christmas cards.
