Cute Paper Cup Fox Craft For Kids

This is a really easy fox craft built around a paper cup base so it’s great for preschoolers. There’s a free printable fox craft template too so it’s really quick and simple to cut out the shapes and stick them on.

Art and craft with paper cups are so fun and we love that this fox craft project is 3D so kids can play with it when they’ve finished.

Cute Paper Cup Fox Craft For Kids Tutorial

(We made these foxes as a paper cup craft idea but if you don’t have any paper cups you could substitute them for a rolled up piece of cardstock or a cardboard tube instead)

Orange Paper Cup
Orange Cardstock
Green Cardstock
White Paper
Eye Stickers
Small Black Pom Poms
Glue
Scissors
Marker Pen

How To Make A Cute Paper Cup Fox Craft

1 – Print out the free fox craft template. (Get yours at the bottom of this tutorial.) On orange cardstock trace around the fox’s tail, head and outer ears and cut them out.

2 – If you printed your fox template pieces onto white paper you can simply cut the other small pieces out and use them straight from the printable sheet. If not trace them onto white paper and cut them out too.

3 – Glue the white fox’s tail tip, inner ears and cheeks onto the corresponding orange template pieces.

4 – Glue the fox’s tummy and paws onto your upturned orange paper cup. You can use a marker pen to draw toes onto the fox’s paws if you want to.

5 – To make the fox’s face add eye stickers and a black pom pom nose. (You could draw these on instead if you prefer.)

6 – Finish making your fox by glueing the head and tail onto the paper cup.

7 – We thought it would be fun to have our pap cup fox crafts sitting on a patch of grass. To make it trace around the circle template piece onto green cardstock.

8 – Make sure your paper cup fox will fit in the middle circle (If not, make it a bit bigger) and then cut small triangles out all the way round. Cut from the outer circle to the inner circle.
