I love that these tassel garlands are easy and cheap to make and as there’s a fair bit of cutting, rolling, twisting and folding to do, it’s a great craft activity for building fine motor skills too. If you’re after more fine motor crafts check out our leaf sewing, it’s always very popular.
We’ve gone a bit mad with the tassel garland making and now have them coming out of our ears! It’s such a lovely quiet activity to sit down and do with the kids while chatting about the day and enjoying each others company.
