We stumbled upon this Tissue Paper Art technique by accident when we were making some tissue paper suncatchers and accidentally knocked over a drink of water! Oh how those colours bled!
After mopping up the mess we decided to see if we could capture the beautiful bleeding colours from wet tissue paper in a controlled way…and hey presto this beautiful Printed Tissue Paper Art was born.
Printing with tissue paper is super easy and kids can make the design as simple or as detailed as they like. My boys loved creating very abstract art pieces and I have to say I think they look stunning and I can’t wait to get them mounted and on the wall.
