Have you been to the Warner Bros studios yet? It’s somewhere I am itching to take the children. Here’s a super partnered post that tells you lots more about what to expect on your visit.

Why a trip to the Warner Bros Studio could be the best part of your family’s summer

If your kids love Harry Potter, there’s a good chance that the boy wizard already has a strong presence in your home with the books, films and toys forming a big part of your kids’ entertainment arsenal.

Though watching the movies, reading the books and acting out the adventures can all be great fun, nothing compares to the excitement of visiting the set itself and getting up close and personal with Harry’s world.

So, if you’re still looking for a few activity ideas for the summer holidays or simply want to plan a few exciting weekend trips, here are a few reasons why a trip to the Warner Bros Studios could be the highlight of your summer.

Recent news has detailed that the studio is even expanding its site, meaning there’ll be even more magic to see in the near future. For now, you’ll have to book your tickets fast to catch a glimpse of what’s already available as spaces fill up fast!

You get to visit Dumbledore’s office

Throw yourself into Hogwarts life with a trip to the original set of Dumbledore’s Office. Get a close up view of all the props and special effects that went into creating the space and see the spot from where the great wizard himself ruled the school and protected Harry from danger.

You can feel like a real Hogwarts pupil in the Great Hall

See how it feels to be a pupil at Hogwarts with a visit to the Great Hall. The setting for many of the films’ most memorable scenes, the Great Hall is a must see for any serious Harry Potter fan.

You can see where the Harry Potter films were actually made.

Though throwing yourself into Hogwarts life is great fun and one of the best parts of the Warner Bros Studio tour is getting an insight into how the films were actually made. Find out about the special effects, props and sets that went into creating Harry Potter and see the studios where the magic was brought to life.

You can get your very own Hogwarts jumper

As well of a range of great gifts and memorabilia in the studio shop, visitors can pick up their very own Hogwarts jumper, made by the same company who created the jumpers for the actual films.

You can take part in numerous activities or events

As well as the bumper selection of activities and attractions available on the tour at all times of year, the studio also hosts separate events and activities to coincide with major holidays – particularly those when the kids are off school.

This is a great way to enhance your experience and this year’s current listings include:

  • The chance to watch the Harry Potter films at the studio (Mondays and Tuesdays between July 07 and August 26)
  • The chance to learn more about how Quidditch games came to live in the films at the Bludgers and Broomsticks events (July 18 until September 01)
  • The chance to discover the truth behind the film’s Dark Arts – perfect for Halloween (October 17 until November 03)
  • The chance to experience the magic of Christmas in a place like no other with the Hogwarts at Christmas Experience (November 14 until next January)
