As regular readers will know I moved house at the beginning of the summer and life has been a whirlwind of dust and debris ever since, as I’ve spent every spare moment stretching my skills to the limit steaming, tiling, sanding, filling and painting trying to make this old battered house a home! Phew I’m exhausted I can tell you!
Finally the downstairs is just about finished and I’m ready to unpack and start putting up the pictures and ornaments that make a house personal to us and turn it from an empty shell into something familiar, cosy and homely.
So when I was given the opportunity to try out the new Hardwall Takker I jumped at the chance. If there was a device out there that would make hanging all my pictures, mirrors and personal touches easier, then I wanted to give it a go!

The Hardwall Takker is a really lightweight, hand-powered device that is designed to replace the heavy electric drill, wall plugs, screws, screwdriver and hammer that I would normally have to use to hang my pictures. It promises to work quickly and easily on any hard wall surface, even ceramic tiles, in seconds!
Is the Hardwall Takker too good to be true? When it first arrived I admit I was very sceptical…
…check out the video below to see how I got on!
So, is the Hardwall Takker too good to be true? Absolutely not!
I really was amazed by this nifty little device. The big heavy mirror I hung in the video is still absolutely solid a few weeks on and the Takk shows no sign of budging!
I went on to use the Hardwall Takker for hanging all sorts of pictures, mirrors, clocks and knick-knacks and can hand on heart say I love this piece of kit!
It’s so much quicker and easier than using a drill, it requires no charging, is pretty much mess free and if I want to move something at a later date all I’m left with is a tiny 3mm hole in the wall to patch up rather than a great big drilled hole and raw plug to remove and patch.
I’m sure I’ll be using the Hardwall Takker again and again over the years and at a fab price of just £24.99* including post and packaging within the UK, it really is excellent value for money too.
