Today I’m sharing a really pretty 3D MOTHER’S DAY TULIP CRAFT. I’ve called it a Mothers’ Day craft but it would be equally lovely to use as a Valentine’s Day craft, for birthdays or for when you just want to treat someone, or yourself, to a gorgeous splash of colour!
This Mother’s Day Paper Tulip Craft has a wonderful 3D effect. Both the tulip flowers and the vase stand off the page and they’re really easy to make with our printable tulip craft template!
This tulip mother’s day craft template comes in three different colour choices of flowers and vases which you can mix and match any way you fancy. There’s also a black and white template that you can colour in with pens, paints or pencils etc.
Our paper tulip craft is really pretty and would make a wonderful wall display in the home or classroom.
If you want to gift your vase of tulips to someone, you can decorate your vase with one of the 3 prewritten message labels. There’s “Best Mum” and “Happy Mother’s Day” and also “I Heart You” which can be used for anyone and any occasion. (Don’t worry they come with both UK and US spelling.)
This paper tulip craft is simple enough for preschool and stylish enough to appeal to your bigger kids too. Download your tulip template and join in the fun this spring!

How To Make A Mother’s Day Tulip Craft
1 – Download and print your Mother’s Day Tulip Craft template from our shop.
2 – If you’re using the black and white flower template, then colour it in.
3 – Cut out your tulip template pieces.
4 – Glue the tulip flower stalks in a fan, onto a backing sheet. (Leave enough space at the top to glue your flower heads.)
5 – Apply glue to the smaller section of a flower head in the area marked “Glue”. Stick that part, colour side down, to the top of a stalk. (Do not put glue on the larger section of the flower head.)
6 – Put some glue on the white triangle point of the flower head that you have glued down. Lift up the bottom part of the flower head and line it up and stick it to the glue.
7 – Choose your message label and glue it to the front of the vase.
8 – On the back of the vase apply glue to the top and bottom lip.
9 – Glue the top lip over the bottom of the flower stalks. Then curl the vase upwards off the page and glue the bottom lip down to create a 3D effect.
