Paper Bag Lion Craft Tutorial
1 – Use your single hole puncher to make holes around the base of the yellow paper plate. For younger children you might want to make fewer holes. (Make sure they’re not too close to the edge.)
2 – In the middle of the paper bag base draw your lion’s nose and mouth and glue on the wiggle eyes.
3 – Cut approx 25 cm /10 inch lengths of your Multi Ply Rafia Ribbon US / UK. You’ll need one length for each hole you made in step 1.
4 – Fold a raffia strand in half and push the fold through a hole in the lion’s head from back to front to make a hoop.
5 – Take the loose ends of the raffia ribbon and put them through the hoop and pull it tight. (Not too tight or you’ll break the paper bag hole.)
6 – Separate all the raffia ribbon strands to create a wild and colourful lion’s mane!
Now your Paper Bag Lion Puppet Craft is ready for fun, games and adventures! ROAR!
