How To Make a 3D Paper Penguin
– Download and print your penguin craft template. There are 3 options; you can choose from the black and white one to colour in, the ready coloured one, or the one to trace onto coloured paper.
– Trace or colour in your template if necessary. (Depending on which template you are using.)
– Cut out the penguin template pieces.
– If needed, glue the inner body onto the outer body (tracing option). Then glue the eyes and beak onto the face.
– Glue the wings and feet onto the back of the penguin’s body. It’s fun to try them in different positions.
– Fold the belly strips along the dotted lines to make a tab at either end.
– On the strips, apply glue to the tabs. Stick one strip vertically, from top to bottom on the penguin’s tummy, to make an arch.
– Glue the next strip horizontally, side to side, across the penguin’s tummy.
– Finally, attach the last two strips diagonally across the penguin’s tummy.
Now your pot belly penguin is ready to waddle off and have some wintery fun!
