A couple of my children’s favourites are cutting hot dogs to look like severed fingers with added ketchup blood and popping candy worms into the jelly! Ewww yuk LOL! Now they’re adding these spooky ghost lollies to their list of favourite Halloween food ideas too.
Making ghost lollies is a fun Halloween food for kids that’s really easy to do and great for big and little kiddies. Because it’s so easy I think it would work really well as a Halloween party idea too. You could easily set up a ghost lolly making station and get all your little visiting monsters and werewolves busy with this fun Halloween craft.
Supplies For Your Halloween Food For Kids – Ghost Lollies
- White Chocolate
- Cake Pop Sticks
- Icing Tubes
- Baking Parchment
How To Make Ghost Lollies – Halloween Food For Kids
Cut out a large piece of baking parchment for each child and give them a few lolly sticks.
Gently melt the chocolate in a bowl.
Let the children spoon the melted chocolate onto the lolly sticks into the shape of a ghost. My children loved doing this and enjoyed trying all sorts of different methods. They spread the chocolate with a spoon, tried spreading it with a lolly stick and even tried blowing it!
Let it set for a few minutes and then decorate with the icing tubes.
