How to Make a Dog Face Out of a Paper Plate
Craft Supplies:
Let’s Make a Paper Plate Puppy!
1 – First decide what colour you want your puppy dog to be and paint your paper plate accordingly. We chose brown and a darker brown eye patch.
2 – Next you’ll need to cut out the dog’s features from coloured paper or cardstock (or you could paint the on if you prefer). You’ll need a black nose and mouth, a long pink tongue, two brown floppy ears, 2 white outer eyes and 2 black inner eyes. (You can use our dog template if you like. It’s only a rough hand sketched one, but you might find it useful.)
3 – We didn’t have any brown card for the ears so we cut them from scrap cardstock and then painted them.
4 – Colour your two round inner eyes black leaving a small white section for give the impression of reflected light.
5 – Glue the puppy dog’s features onto the front of the paper plate.
6 – Finish off you paper plate dog by gluing the ears onto the back and giving it a long wet floppy pink tongue.
