Every year we have such a great time making Halloween decorations to fill our house with spooky fun. We do tend to go with the silly and funny type of decoration rather than the creepy and scary though. I am not one for the very gruesome and ghoulish at all! This Paper Plate Frankenstein Wind Catcher Craft is definitely lots of fun with their cheeky smiles and long flowing tassels! It’s sure to be a hit with all the family, even your tiny tots.
These Halloween wind catchers are quick and easy to make and because of their flowing streamers they’re quite large and make a big impact for very little effort!
A good thing about this paper plate Frankenstein craft is that the streamers can be cut as long and as short as you like to fit the space where you’re going to hang them. We’ve got ours hanging indoors at the moment with some streamers right down to the floor! If the weather’s fine on Halloween night we’ll be hanging some outside on our oak tree so that Trick or Treat visitors can enjoy them too.
Wherever you display your Frankenstein Wind Catchers they’re sure to delight this Halloween!
If you like this Frankenstein Wind Catcher idea then do take a peek at our Witch Wind Catchers too. The two of them would look great together!
We’ve also got lots of other fun Frankenstein crafts to choose from here too.

2 – To make Frankensteins hair, cut some short strips of black crepe paper about 3 inches or 8cm long. Snip one end of each strip into a point.
3 – Glue the crepe paper hair onto the black cardboard band you cut in step 1 and then glue the band onto the top of the plate.
4 – Make Frankenstein’s neck bolts by cutting two capital T shapes from black cardstock. Glue one onto each side of the paper plate.
5 – Make Frankenstein’s face by gluing on some large wiggle eyes. Cut thin strips of black cardstock to make his eyebrows and smile.
