How To Make DIY Halloween Haunted House Treat Boxes
Step 1 – Print the free haunted house treat box templates. There are 6 different designs to choose from. We recommend using 160 gsm cardstock paper to help make them more rigid.
Step 2 – Colour them in, cut them out and fold along the tab lines. You can use them as score lines or simply fold along them by hand. (We just folded by hand.)
Step 3 – Then apply glue to the pre-folded tabs you just made and glue the two halves of the treat box together and then the bottom.
Step 4 – Shut the roof and either glue the tabs to hold it shut or hole punch two holes in the upper roof tab and add a ribbon bow. We prefer using ribbon so that we can open and shut the box as often as we like.
Top tip: If you want to make an interactive door or window, before you glue the house together, simple cut along three of the outer edges so that it hinges open and shut.
