Pop Up Thanksgiving Turkey Craft For Kids
Springy Turkey Craft Supplies:
- Printable Pop Up Turkey Craft Template
- Printer Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Optional: Colouring Pens/Pencils etc.
How To Make Bouncing Turkeys!
1 – Colour and cut out the turkey template. (Click here to get yours from our shop.)
2 – Glue 2 spring pieces together to make a long rectangle. Repeat with the other 2.
3 – Glue the ends of the 2 lengths together to make a right angle.
4 – Fold the bottom length over the top length.
5 – Keep folding the new bottom length over the new top length to make a spring.
6 – Glue the end of the final fold together.
7 – Fold along the dotted lines of the body to make 2 tabs. Glue the tabs together to make an arch.
8 – Apply glue to one end of the spring and stick it to the bottom of the inside of the arch.
9 – Roll the head into a cylinder and glue it together. Then glue the head onto the top of the body.
10 – Glue the eyes, snood, beak and feet onto the front of the turkey.
11 – Fold along the dotted line of the tail to make a flap. Apply glue to the flap and stick it to the bottom of the turkey.
12 – Put your finger inside the head and gently push the turkey down. Let go to see the turkey pop back up.
