How To Make A St Patrick’s Day Shamrock Puppet Craft
1 – Paint the outside of a paper cup in rainbow stripes with a foam paint brush. We used acrylic paint because it has a good coverage with just one layer.
2 – On green cardstock sketch out a shamrock leaf shape and cut it out. Make sure it is slightly smaller than the diameter of the paper cup so that it will fit inside.
3 – Bring your shamrock leaf to life by gluing on some wiggle eyes and drawing a smile.
4 – Glue the shamrock onto the end of a jumbo craft stick.
5 – Carefully cut a small slit into the bottom of the paper cup. (Adults only.)
6 – Put the shamrock puppet inside the cup and slide the craft stick into the slot.
Peek-a-boo! Now you can play hide and seek with your shamrock puppet pal. What fun!
