How To Make Paper Butterflies

2 – Trace around the shapes onto coloured card or paper of your choice and cu out the pieces.
3 – Make your butterfly’s face and body by drawing the features onto your oval pattern piece. We used a black Sharpie Pen to draw the smile and striped body and a pink Sharpie to make the rosy cheeks.
4 – Glue the butterfly body onto the middle of the wings.
5 – Glue the inner wing patterns onto the butterfly wings. Children can cut or draw additional patterns too of course. It’s a fun way to learn about symmetry!
6 – Finish your cute paper butterfly craft by glueing on the two small antennae.
We think it’s fun to make lots of different butterflies in a range of colours and to give each one a different face. So cute and Summery!
