How to Make Paper Farm Animal Puppets

From the smallest duck to the biggest horse, your new farmyard puppet friends are super easy to make.

  1. Download the free printable puppet templates and print them onto cardstock.
  2. Decorate each farm animal any way you chose. You can use paint, crayons, markers etc.
  3. Carefully cut out the template pieces.
  4. Fold the mouth along the 3 fold lines so that it opens and shuts hiding the the tongue and teeth inside.
  5. Attach the two rectangular strips at the back to make finger loops. Stick one to the top jaw and one to the bottom jaw. You can change their position and sizing for small or larger fingers.
  6. Put your index finger in the top loop and your thumb in the bottom to open and shut the mouth. Now your farm animals can moo, quack and bleat all day long!
