These Donut Thanksgiving Turkey Treats are so fun for kids to make and eat. Of course they are great desserts for Thanksgiving celebrations but for those of us in the UK or the rest of the world we think they’re delicious for Autumn and Christmas too.

These cute Turkey Treats are super easy to make and because they’re no-cook its the perfect thanksgiving recipe for kids to help out with. It’s so fun to get the whole family working together in the kitchen and you’ll all be “Gobbling” them up in no time!

Donut Thanksgiving Turkey Treats Recipe

Turkey Treats Ingredients

Pack Chocolate Hostess Donettes
Candy Corn
Bag Hershey Almond Kisses
Small Candy Edible Eyes
1 Egg White
1/8 tsp Cream Of Tarter
1 C Icing Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
Red Food Dye
Piping Bag With Small Nozzle

How To Make Donut Turkey Treats

1 – Whisk together the egg white, icing sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla to make thick icing.

2 – Colour the icing with a few drops of red food colouring and pop it into the icing bag.3 – Gently press candy corn pieces into the edge of the chocolate donut to make the turkey’s tail feathers.

4 – Use a dot of red icing to fix the almond Hershey Kiss (these have gold wrappers) into the middle of the donut to make the turkey’s beak.

5 – Use some icing to add on two edible eyes.

6 – Finish off your delicious donut turkey treat with a sweep of red icing on the side of the turkey’s beak to make his wibbly wobbly snood.
