Toffee Apples are a childhood treat that I always think of in the Autumn. Here in the UK we’d have a sticky toffee apple treat on Bonfire Night as we huddled around the fire and watched the fireworks. Happy days! These homemade Caramel Apple Lollipops are a fun twist on my childhood classic toffee apple that kids and grown ups are sure to love. I think they even outdo the original!
Fun and easy to make this caramel apple suckers recipe gives a delicious Fall treat the whole family will enjoy. Creamy caramel and tangy apple fuse together in a bite sized, suck sized, lick of lusciousness!

How To Make Delicious Caramel Apple Lollipops
1 – Set your oven to 150C and while it’s heating up unwrap your Apple Jolly Rancher sweets, put them in a Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin. My kids love doing stuff like this!
2 – When you candy is crushed up into little pieces fill the oven-safe lollipop moulds and pop them in the oven for 4-6 minutes until melted. We check ours every minute because we don’t want to burn the candy.
3 – Take your apple lollipops from the oven and add a lollipop stick straight away before the candy has time to cool and set. (Be very careful the melted candy is HOT! You might prefer this bit to be grown ups only.)
4 – When your apple suckers have completely cooled, take them out of their moulds and put them on to baking parchment.
5 – To make the toffee for your apple lollipops unwrap your caramels and put them into a small saucepan with the cream. Heat them slowly and gently on a low heat until they are melted and smooth.
6 – Dip each lollipop into the melted caramel and put on the baking parchment to cool. You might prefer to pour the melted caramel into a small bowl for easier dipping. (Again be very careful if little hands are doing this, melted caramel is hot enough to burn!) Before the caramel sets you could add some coloured sugar sprinkles too if you fancy.
Let your caramel apple lollipops cool and set completely and then enjoy. Delicious! The perfect treat for Halloween, Bonfire Night or Thanksgiving…or just because you love toffee apples!
