Easy Yarn Wrapped Fox Craft Tutorial
To Make Yarn Wrapped Foxes You Will Need:
- Cardboard (An old Amazon box is ideal.)
- Orange Yarn
- White Yarn
- Wiggle Eyes
- Small Black Pom Poms
- Orange and White Paper Scraps
- Glue
- Sticky Tape
How To Make A Yarn Wrapped Fox Craft
1 – Cut a triangle head from your cardboard box. This Yarn Wrapped Fox Craft can be made in any size you like!
2 – Sticky tape one end of your orange yarn on to the back of your cardboard triangle.
3 – Wrap and wrap the yarn all around the cardboard triangle. If you are crafting with very young children you might want to cut some small notches around the edge of the cardboard. The yarn can then be slotted into the notches so little hands don’t have to hold it taut as they wrap.
4 – When you have finished wrapping your yarn, sticky tape the end onto the back of the cardboard. (If you want to you can repeat the process with white yarn to give the fox a white nose.)
5 – Cut two triangle ears from your orange paper and two smaller white inner ear triangles.
6 – Glue the ears onto the back of the foxes head.
7 – Finish off your fox craft by glueing on some wiggle eyes and a cute pom pom nose. If you wanted to you could add some pipe cleaner or paper whiskers too!
