These fun hats are made with a simple headband that can be adjusted to fit any size, so the whole family can enjoy making and wearing them together, for their Clifford movie adventure!
How To Make A Clifford The Big Red Dog Hat
Clifford Hat Craft Supplies:
- Free Printable Clifford The Big Red Dog Hat (Get your hat template at the bottom of this tutorial.)
- Printer Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Stapler
- Optional: Colouring Pens/Pencils/Paints etc.
Clifford The Big Red Dog Hat Craft Tutorial
1 – Download and print the free printable Clifford The Big Red Dog Hat Template onto printer cardstock or paper. (Get your template at the bottom of this tutorial.)
2 – If you’re using the black and white template then colour it in with marker pens, pencils, paints etc.
3 – Carefully cut out all the hat template pieces.
4 – Fold the ears along the dotted lines to make flaps.
5 – Glue an ear flap onto each side of the front headband.
6 – Staple the back headband onto either side of the front headband to make a wearable loop. Measure it around your head first to get a good fit. The template includes a headband extension section which can be stapled in if you need to make the hat bigger, perhaps for a grown-up or someone with very thick hair.
Now the whole family can enjoy wearing their Clifford The Big Red Dog hats and snuggling down to a movie watch party at home or the cinema. Enjoy the film!
