This easy St Patrick’s day craft for kids is made with rainbow coloured strips of paper which are twisted and burst out of the pot! They give a wonderful 3D effect and add a little magic to the craft!

- White Cardstock
- Coloured Paper
- Gold Glitter Paper
- Black Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
How to Make a Rainbow Pot Of Gold Craft
1 – Start by downloading and printing the free printable pot of gold template. (Get yours at the bottom of this page.)
2 – Next, trace the template pieces onto coloured paper and cut them out.
3 – Decide which order you want your rainbow colours to go in. Then take the middle colour and glue the top of the strip to the top middle of a backing sheet of white cardstock. Twist the strip once and glue the other end down.
4 – Repeat this process of gluing and twisting the strips working your way out from the middle.
5 – Keep going until all of the twisted strips of coloured paper are glued on.
6 – Glue four gold paper coins onto the back of the cauldron so they are poking out of the top.
7 – Then turn the pot of gold over and glue the last piece of gold onto the front, so that it looks like it’s fallen out of the pot.
8 – Finally, glue the pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow.

Materials
- FREE Printable 3D Pot Of Gold Template.
- White Cardstock
- Coloured Paper
- Gold Glitter Paper
- Black Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
- Download and printing the free printable pot of gold template.
- Trace the template pieces onto coloured paper and cut them out.
