Supplies To Make A Rocking Handprint Turkey Craft
- Brown Paper Plates
- Coloured Cardstock
- Googly Eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
How To Make A Rocking Turkey Craft
1 – To make the rocking turkey’s tail feathers draw around your hand onto coloured paper and cut it out. You might like to layer your coloured paper so you can cut out a few handprints at a time.
2 – Fan your handprints out and glue them together.
3 – Cut a yellow triangle beak and red snood/wattle from cardstock.
4 – Glue the turkey’s facial features onto the front of a brown paper plate along with some googly eyes.
5 – Glue the fan of handprint tail feathers onto the back of the paper plate turkey.
6 – Cut a second brown paper plate in half.
7 – Glue the cut edge of the paper plate half to the back of the turkey’s head at the bottom.
8 – You should be able to stand your rocking paper plate turkey craft up. If it doesn’t then gently pull the two bottom pieces away from each other a little to make a wider standing base.
9 – Now you can give your rocking paper plate turkey craft a gentle tap and it should sway from side to side.
