These pretty Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards are super cute and very easy to make. They are great fun as an Easter craft for kids that lets them practise their fine motor skills too. This easy Easter Bunny craft is adorable as wall decorations or, like us, you might want to make super cute Bunny Easter Cards to share with friends and family this Springtime.
We’ve provided you with two free printable templates so you can easily make your own yarn wrapped Easter bunny cards too. One rabbit template has pointed ears and the other has one pointed and one folded ear. Both bunny rabbits are lovely!

The two free printable templates are sized to make Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards but you can easily scale them in your printer settings if you want to make them bigger or smaller and you can of course use them for all sorts of Easter crafts. Supplies to make Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunnies:
- Free Printable Bunny Templates (Get yours at the end of this tutorial.)
- Coloured Printer Cardstock
- White Printer Cardstock
- Coloured Yarn
- White Pom Poms
- Glue
- Scissors
- Sticky Tape
- Marker Pen
How To Make Pretty Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards
1 – Download the free Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards Templates, there are two to choose from. Print the template onto coloured printer card. We love Pastel colours for our Easter Bunny Cards. (Get yours at the bottom of this tutorial.)
2 – Carefully cut out the middle of the bunny template. You might need to do this part for younger children.
3 – Using card of a contrasting colour cut a rectangle a little bigger than the rabbit cut out shape.
4 – Cut a length of coloured yarn and sticky tape one end to the cardstock rectangle. Wrap the yarn around and secure the other end with sticky tape too. Keep all your sticky tape on one side of the cardstock.
5 – Repeat this yarn wrapping process with different coloured yarns.
6 – Fold the Easter Bunny Card template in half so that it opens and shuts.
7 – Glue your yarn wrapped cardstock on to the back of the bunny cut out inside the card.
8 – If you want the inside of your yarn wrapped Easter bunny card to be neat and tidy cut a piece of white printer cardstock slightly smaller than the card itself and glue it inside to cover the back of the yarn wrapping.
9 – Glue a white pom pom bunny tail onto the front of the Easter card.
10 – Write your Easter or Springtime message inside your greeting card.
