This CHRISTMAS CARD BABY JESUS CRAFT is the cutest!
Little baby Jesus lies in a hay filled manger on a star of Bethlehem background. It’s such an adorable and easy religious Christmas craft for kids of all ages.
These Christmas cards are super easy to make with our BABY JESUS CRAFT PRINTABLE.
These baby Jesus cards have a super 3D element that kids will love.
The baby Jesus craft template comes in colour and B/W, so you have lots of options for how to use it.
You can use the coloured templates straight from your printer. Simply print, cut and stick. I love that the coloured version has 10 MULTICULTURAL SKIN COLOURS to choose from.
The black and white template can also be lots of fun. Kids can either enjoy colouring it in or they can trace around it onto coloured cardstock.
Christmas Card Baby Jesus Craft Tutorial
We’ve made this as a Christmas card craft that opens and shut but you could easily glue them closed and mount the stars onto cardstock for a wall display or even add a little loop and hang them as baby Jesus ornaments for your Christmas tree.
However you use them there is no escaping how adorably sweet they are!
Please note the photographs show this craft made with the addition of a glitter glue trimming. This could be omitted or swapped for pen, sequins, glitter etc.

How To Make Baby Jesus Christmas Cards
1 – Download and print the baby Jesus craft template.
2 – Either use the coloured template or trace around the B/W template onto coloured cardstock or colour it in. You should have a light yellow double star, a white and dark yellow rectangle, a brown manger and a skin coloured circle.
3 – Fold the double star to make your opening and shutting Christmas card base. Put the hinge at the top and then glue on the brown manger at the bottom.
4 – Cut your dark yellow rectangle into thin strips to make straw for baby Jesus to lie in.
5 – Glue the hay onto the manger. We just put a little dab of glue onto the middle of each piece of straw rather than gluing the whole strip down. This lets you lift the ends of the straw up away from the star base to make the card more 3D.
6 – Glue baby Jesus’ face onto the middle top of the white rectangle and draw on his eyes and smile.
7 – Roll baby Jesus up and glue it in place.
8 – Glue baby Jesus onto his hay filled manger.
9 – Decorate the edges of the Star of Bethlehem with gold glitter glue or similar
10 – When the glue is dry open up your Baby Jesus Christmas card and write your message inside.
