Craft Supplies:
- Printable Baby Jesus Diorama Template ( Also available from our TPT store)
- Printer Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Marker Pen
- Optional: Colouring Materials
Step-by-step Instructions to Make a Baby Jesus Diorama
Step 1 – Download the printable template and print it out.
Step 2 – Cut out the pieces. (If you are choosing to use the black-and-white template, colour it in first.)
Step 3 – Fold the night sky in half along the dotted line and cut along the solid line to the centre. Then glue the star on the top.
Step 4 – Overlap with the left hand lower quarter of the night sky onto of the right hand lower quarter. Glue into place.
Step 5 – Fold along the dotted lines of the manger to make it into a 3D platform.
Step 6 – Glue the manger into the night sky.
Step 7 – Cut the strips of hay and glue the middle of each one on top of the manger.
Step 8 – Choose a face for Baby Jesus and glue it on. Draw on eyes and a happy smile.
Step 9 – Roll Baby Jesus into a tube and glue it in place.
Step 10 – Glue him onto the hay filled manger.
