Craft Supplies:
- PRINTABLE BABY JESUS HAT TEMPLATE (Also available from my TPT store)
- White Cardstock or White Paper (card stock will be stronger)
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Marker Pen
- Optional: Your Favourite Colouring Materials
Step-by-Step Instructions
Download and print the Jesus Headband Template. If you are using the black-and-white template, colour it first, before following the step-by-step tutorial below.
Step 1 – Cut out the Baby Jesus Hat Template pieces.
Step 2 – Glue the big star onto the front headband.
Step 3 – Glue the middle of each strip of hay onto the middle of the star. Then bend the ends of the hay upwards.
Step 4 – Chose a skin tone and glue Baby Jesus’ head onto the body. Then draw on a happy face.
Step 5 – Apply glue to one side edge of Baby Jesus’ body and curl it into a tube.
Step 6 – Glue Baby Jesus onto the bed of hay.
Step 7 – Attach each side of the front headband on to the back headband, to make a wearable loop. (Use the extension piece if you need a bigger size.)
Now you can wear your adorable Baby Jesus hat with pride. It is so cute!!
