Easy Easter Basket Craft For Preschoolers
Easter Basket Supplies:
- Printable template (Click here to get your basket template from our shop.)
- Printer paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Optional: Colouring pens/pencils etc.
How To Make Paper Easter Egg Baskets
1 – Download and print the Easter basket pattern. (Click here to get yours from our shop.) If you are using the black and white template, colour it in or trace it onto coloured cardstock or paper.
2 – Cut out the template pieces. Glue the handle towards the top of a backing sheet of card or paper.
3 – Glue the back of the basket onto the backing sheet making sure it slightly overlaps the handle.
4 – Glue one end of each of the 3 short rectangles onto the bottom of the basket. Slightly fan out the two outer rectangles. (Only glue the bottom end of the rectangles.)
5 – Apply a spot of glue to the top of each short rectangle.
6 – Fold over the tabs on the long rectangle. Glue them below the handle to make an arch.
7 – Push the glued ends of the short rectangles onto the back of the arch.
8 – Cut out the eggs and put them in the basket.
