How to Make a Christmas Lights Reindeer Card
– Download and print your Free Christmas Lights Reindeer Card Template. You can print it onto white cardstock and colour it in or trace around it onto coloured cardstock. You’ll need red for the nose and brown for the head and ears.
– Carefully cut out your reindeer card pieces.
– Fold the reindeer’s face in half to make a triangle that opens and closes. Then glue on the eyes and nose.
– Glue the ears onto the back of the Christmas card so that they stick out at the sides.
– To make the antlers for your reindeer card cut a long brown pipe cleaner in half. Then cut one third off of one of the halves. Wrap the two small pieces of pipe cleaner around the longer piece to make prongs. We put the short one at the top and the longer one at the bottom.
– To make the Christmas lights, tie a piece of yellow yarn to the top of each antler and then wrap it around the prongs and down to the bottom. Tie on the other end of yarn at the bottom.
– Sticky tape the antlers onto the back of the reindeer card.
– Now decorate the yarn with mini pom poms to make the Christmas lights that are wrapped around the reindeer’s antlers.
– Finally open the reindeer’s head to write your message inside.
I’m sure you’ll agree these reindeer cards are super cute and I’m sure friends and family will be delighted to receive them at Christmas.
