These colourful 3D turkeys are just darling! They have a fan of brightly coloured tail feathers and a sticky out round belly that is so characterful!
Kids just love the turkey’s big round pot belly! It is so cute and fun!
The turkey’s 3D tummy is made from paper strips and there’s a PRINTABLE TURKEY CRAFT TEMPLATE which makes it super easy for little hands to make.

Pot Belly Paper Turkey Craft Tutorial
Supplies To Make Paper Turkeys:
- Printable Turkey Craft Template (Click here to get it from our shop)
- White Card
- Brown Paper or Card
- Coloured Paper
- Wiggle Eyes (optional)
- Glue
- Scissors
How To Make A Paper Turkey Craft With A Cute Pot Belly
1 – Download and print the turkey craft template.
2 – Cut out all the pieces.
3 – Put your white card into a landscape position and glue your turkey tail feathers on in a fan.
4 – You will have cut 4 brown strips. Fold the last inch /2cm of each strip over. Use the photo as a guide.
5 – Take one brown paper strip and apply glue to the folded ends. Position in vertically onto the turkey’s tummy to make a loop. (Use the photo as a guide.)
6 – Repeat step 5 with a second brown strip but this time go horizontally.
7 – Finish the turkey’s pot belly with your last two paper strips going diagonally.
8 – Glue the turkey’s feet onto the bottom back of the turkey so they poke out below the pot belly.
8 – Make the turkey’s face by gluing on the wattle/snood, beak and eyes.
9 – Glue the turkey’s body onto the middle of the fanned tail feathers.
Gobble, gobble now your Pot Belly Paper Turkey Craft is finished. Aren’t they fun?
