How To Make Popsicle Stick Thing 1 and Thing 2 Puppets
1 – Thing 1 and Thing 2 have wild blue hair which is easy to make by drawing a zig zig shape onto craft foam with a pen or pencil.
2 – Draw and cut out two crazy blue foam hair shapes one for each of your Dr Suess puppets.
3 – Using acrylic paint we gave our Thing 1 and Thing 2 puppets a white face at the top of the red popsicle stick and a white circle in the middle area. Depending on the quality of your paint you might need two layers to cover the red.
4 – When your white paint is completely dry you can draw a face and number onto each puppet with a black Sharpie pen.
5 – Finish off your Thing 1 and Thing 2 puppets by gluing on their wild blue hair behind their faces.
Don’t they look cheeky and fun? What kind of antics will your Thing 1 and thing 2 puppets get up to?
